Blacksmith’s Cottage Nursery
Blacksmith's Cottage Nursery was created by Ben Potterton in 1998 with the assistance of the Prince's Trust. We grow a wide range of interesting hardy perennials with a large stock of hardy Geranium, Geum, Potentilla, Polygonatum, Sanguisorba, Leucanthemum x superbum, and one of the largest (and ever-increasing) collections of shade-tolerant species in the East of England.
The nursery is open between March and October from 10am to 5pm, Thursday to Sunday plus Bank Holidays. From November to February, we're open Saturdays & Sundays from 10am till dusk.
