Reads Nursery is a small family run business now in its 6th generation, our plants are propagated here by cuttings, seeds and grafting. Reads Nursery can offer you expert advice on the selection and cultural needs of all our plants.

Just one of our large collection of conservatory plants is the Bougainvillea, they are splendid plants for the conservatory or frost free greenhouse.

We produce Grape vines of all types including Seedless Grapes, Greenhouse Grapes, Garden Grapes, White Grapes, Black Grapes and even Red Grapes

Our range of fig trees includes, Fig Brown Turkey a large pear shaped fruit brown with occasional purple tinge, Fig Adam this has green to yellowish brown skinned figs with a touch of violet, Fig Alma golden flesh of excellent flavour. Heavy crops, Fig Angeleque flesh white with pink tinge. Good for pots. Does well on walls in a greenhouse.

OPENING TIMES We are open all year, Wednesday - Saturday 10am to 4.30pm (4pm during winter). Also Sundays During British summer time, April to October and Bank Holiday Mondays 11 am to 4pm. Our answerphone gives details.
